Our Story: A Family Tradition
Beverley Holidays is a family-run holiday park with a rich history spanning over 65 years, and sees our holiday parks in their third generation of ownership by the Jeavons Family. Our story began in 1956 when caravan enthusiasts Joseph Stanley Jeavons and his wife Marion purchased 21 acres of farmland in Goodrington. They relocated from Wombourne in Staffordshire with their three sons: Peter, Alan, and Michael, bringing with them a vision of creating a special place for holidaymakers to relax and enjoy the beauty of South Devon.
The dream officially took shape in 1959 with the opening of Beverley Park. What started modestly with just ten caravans, a few tents, and a small shop has since flourished into a thriving collection of holiday parks. The name ‘Beverley’ was inspired by the famous Beverley Sisters, a reflection of the era’s cultural influences.
Over the decades, Beverley Park expanded to include Beverley Bay and Beverley View, offering an even wider range of accommodation options. Today, we welcome guests to our family of parks, where they can choose from luxury holiday lodges, caravans, touring and camping pitches, as well as holiday home ownership.

We host a variety of entertainment and events throughout the year, from live shows and themed nights to children’s activities and seasonal celebrations. Our on-site facilities, including swimming pools, restaurants, and play areas, ensure there’s always something to enjoy, whatever the weather.

At Beverley Holidays, we’re honoured to have received several prestigious awards that reflect our dedication to providing exceptional holiday experiences. In the 2024/5 Devon Tourism Awards, we were thrilled to win Gold for ‘Holiday Park of the Year‘ and received a commendation in the ‘Dog Friendly Business of the Year’ category. Our commitment to environmental sustainability was recognised with the BHHPA David Bellamy ‘Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature’ 2024. Additionally, we were proud finalists in The Dog Friendly Awards (National) and achieved a 5 Gold Star Campsite rating from AA Caravan & Camping in 2024. These accolades are a testament to our team’s hard work and our ongoing commitment to excellence.
